These release notes describe the changes, fixes, known issues, and release details that apply to FC HBA Driver for Linux Kernel 2.4.x, version 7.07.06.

3. Bug Fixes

The following fixes have been made to the FC HBA Driver for Linux Kernel 2.4.x between versions 7.07.05 and 7.07.06.

  • Corrected PLOGI retry logic where targets were not being properly recognized during ELS timeout failures.
  • Used correct IP broadcast address on 4Gb FC HBAs.
  • Corrected setting of IOCB timeouts.
  • Perform implicit LOGO during fabric logout request.
  • Corrected large-buffer transfer issues during loopback test.
  • Corrected races in command timer logic.
  • Corrected endianness issue while interrogating MS status.
  • Workaround ACU underrun issue related to vendor-specific commands.
  • Fixed issue with OEM card displaying as 2 HBAs instead of 1 HBA with two ports.

This driver must be used with API library version 3.00 build 9.
