1. Version
These release notes describe the changes, fixes, known issues, and release details
that apply to QLC FCode for FC HBAs, version 1.16.
2. Changes
The following changes have been made to the QLC FCode
for FC HBAs between version 1.14.15 to 1.16.

if topology=FL-port .
- Changed wait time in
fw-ready? loop from 1 second to 1/3 second for
FL-port boot .
- Added
info-count so the version is displayed only once when qlc is selected.

N-port support. Fixed bugs in show-children and nport-get-ID(get-ID-list proc) .
- Changed 1.15b3 fix to use
lip-login mbox command instead of login-loop-port .
- Added more debugging in
get-my-ID and execute-command .
- Added 16-bit LoopID.
- Added compressed firmware algorithm from IBM code.
- Reorganized code with common directory which has code common to sun & qla.
- Cleaned up
show-children .
- Added 16-bit LUN capability.

3. Bug Fixes
The following fixes have been made to the QLC FCode for FC HBAs between version
1.14.15 to 1.16.
- Fixed Selftest - External loopback test. Skip
echo-diag-test if F-port topology.
- Fixed Selftest - Memory test return status in
do-mem-test and test-mem .
- Fixed SNS commands, including x112 bug found in IBM FCode.
- Fixed
starting-ID bug in show-children , obp-target got cleared if NL-port .
- Fixed bug in
logout-devices . Wasn't always logging out from starting device.
- Fixed stack bug in
inquiry & report-luns . Add error? test to handle failed case.
- Fixed another
infinite-loop bug, lip-login doesn't fix the link on comp-stat 29.
- Fixed stack bug in
lip-login . Must return completion-status to execute-command .
- Fixed processing of
get-ID-for-fc4type GID_FT buffer to check for null buffer.
- Fixed stack bug in
show-children when topology is not valid.
- Fixed
infinite-loop login-device bug, when topology=loop . When return status=28 or 29 (unavail or port-logo ) execute login-loop-port if topo=loop .
